What about tulips?

I love tulips, I think it’s the best flower of all! Roses are also great and there are always going to be a classic, elegant choice of flowers, but tulips are my favorites. They seem so soft and gentle. In my mind, every flower has a unique character and personality. For example orchids are wild and adventurous; roses are elegant and glamorous; daisies are friendly and childish. Tulips are combining elegance with simplicity, wildness with cuteness, independence with vulnerability. I don’t have a preference in color. Maybe, I tend to prefer the red and the yellow ones more, but I wouldn’t say no to any other color.

Did you know that the homeland of tulips is not Holland, but they originated in Ottoman Empire? (See more on  About Holland). In my country,  you can only find them in a flower shop, or if somebody has planted them in their yard; but because I live in a city, the last one is extremely rare occasion. Fortunately, there is a special someone, who brings me tulips and many other flowers often because he knows how much I love them. (You can see them in the pic)

Many people don’t think of flowers in that way and that’s ok, but I find it really funny and cute to think of them like that. After all, they say that, when you love your plants, they blossom. So maybe, they do have a personality.
